Update time

Ok, ok. I promised an update. I apologize for being so freakin' busy, but I am a big busy boy now. You must start to understand that.

Anyway. So, there was an accident on Christmas Eve right? Here's what happened. Mommy and I were in the grocery store debating the merits of cheaper generic maple syrup vs. expensive genuine Vermont maple syrup when we heard overhead: "Will the owner of a silver SUV, license ***-***, please come to the front desk?". So Mommy and I headed up there and found out that this lady hit our car!!! We parked our groceries (with the generic syrup) at the front and went outside. A lady had hit the gas pedal instead of the break, hit the grocery store, turned, hit mommy's car, and then slammed into another SUV. Our car was minimally damaged compared to the other guy's, but it was scary just the same. While the police and store manager did damage control, I helped out by laughing, pointing, and just being cute. An hour later, we were able to go back in and buy the rest of Christmas breakfast. No one died and no animals were harmed during the resolution of this fender bender.

I had a great Christmas and discovered Christmas lights! I would be content spending the rest of my days driving around looking at Christmas lights. I can even say it! It comes out sounding like "liiiights". I still say it all the time, even though they have all disappeared.

If I'm not looking at Christmas lights, I'm watching the Wiggles. Wiggle is a word that I have also added to my vocab. I love the Wiggles. I don't have a favorite, but Mommy says that the blue one is cute. I may have to keep an eye on her... If I'm having a really good day, I get to watch a Wiggles DVD and wear my Wiggles pj's to bed. They have taught me some very useful things such as how to make a fruit salad, how to use a feather as a sword, and how to say "Shalom". Well, I can't say it yet, but I will someday.

I am in a peanut butter and jelly phase at the moment. I won't eat anything else. I just thought you should know.

Let's see. What else? Uh, I burned my finger on the stove a couple of weeks ago...I throw EVERYTHING in the trash can these days...I like to take the knob off of the dishwasher and hide it...I HATE having my teeth brushed and will stop at nothing to prevent it...

Really, not much of interest has been going on here. Things are just pretty quiet. However, this may change. I can't say why right now, but keep your fingers crossed and pray for good things to keep happening to our small family. Hopefully, next time we visit, I'll have some really cool news for you!

Until then, happy new year!!!

Ummm, yeah. It's going to sound horrible but I'm going to tell you anyway. The way I used to brush Joshua's teeth, and the way I do Jonah's now . . . He lies on his back on the floor. I sit at his head, my legs on either side of him. And then I pin him down. I promise the dentist told me to do it this way!! And they actually get used to it, so it's just part of the normal routine. Anyway, I just kind of pin his head with my legs, and put each of his arms under my legs. Viola - the more he screams, the easier it is to brush!! I'll send you a picture sometime ;-)
