Well, I guess that I am officially healthy again. Of course, that is a good thing, but it means no more constant DVD watching or get better gifts. Mommy has stopped buying me litle "Wiggles" presents everytime she went to Target and the rentals from Blockbuster have ceased. I was actually becoming so addicted to the TV that Daddy went and hid all of my movies. I only get to watch one if I have been very very good.
In breaking news, I have moved to a BIG boy bed!!! This was kind of a fluke, but it's cool nonetheless. While I was sick, Mommy couldn't get me to stay asleep when she put me in my crib at night, so we started camping out in the twin size bed that has been in my room for the past year. We put it there when Mommy first got sick, so people who came to help out in the early mornings and overnight could have somewhere to crash. After things got better, it turned into Evan's future BIG boy bed. The future is here!
And since I brought up Mommy, I thought that I would share this also. She went to her oncologist and was given a completely clean bill of health. No more cancer! Eveything was perfect!! I guess she's gonna stick around for a while...
Things for me have been going so well, that I got to go to Grammy and Grandaddy's house on Saturday night while the 'rents went to see Bill Clinton. This to me was exciting, only because I get to play with doggies and the toy helicopter while there. Mommy was excited because she loves Bill Clinton. When she came to pick me up, I learned that she got some pics and shook his hand. She's very proud of that. She wanted me to post a couple of those pics, so here they are.
Have a good week!!!!

I just wanted to let the like, 3 people who read this blog know that I am doing much better. I am up and eating and drinking like a semi-normal toddler again. I have been up and about and am taking advantage of my worried, temporarily over-indulgent parents. By this, I mean that I have thrown everything within arms reach on the floor, ripped up books, and watch multiple Baby Einstein/Wiggles DVD's daily. Today, I was even able to throw a pretty impressive tantrum when it was time to take a nap. Mommy, who is exhausted, finally just gave in and took a nap in my place. I don't know how much longer this illness will drag on, but rest assured, I am going to milk it for everything I can. Impressed? Yeah, I know you are....
Really, I have learned a lot from TV these past few days. I watched Ferris Bueller's day off and, obviously, now know how to make everyone worry about me and my health.
Until I'm better, enjoy some of these older pictures of a younger and healthier (cough, cough) me that were originally posted on Totsites (ah-choo).
"Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? Um, he's sick. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious."

I'm very very sick. Today I was diagnosed with RSV and viral pneumonia. It sucks to be me right now. The above are some pics of me and my rosy feverish cheeks. Check back in with me at a later date.

Ok, ok. I promised an update. I apologize for being so freakin' busy, but I am a big busy boy now. You must start to understand that.
Anyway. So, there was an accident on Christmas Eve right? Here's what happened. Mommy and I were in the grocery store debating the merits of cheaper generic maple syrup vs. expensive genuine Vermont maple syrup when we heard overhead: "Will the owner of a silver SUV, license ***-***, please come to the front desk?". So Mommy and I headed up there and found out that this lady hit our car!!! We parked our groceries (with the generic syrup) at the front and went outside. A lady had hit the gas pedal instead of the break, hit the grocery store, turned, hit mommy's car, and then slammed into another SUV. Our car was minimally damaged compared to the other guy's, but it was scary just the same. While the police and store manager did damage control, I helped out by laughing, pointing, and just being cute. An hour later, we were able to go back in and buy the rest of Christmas breakfast. No one died and no animals were harmed during the resolution of this fender bender.
I had a great Christmas and discovered Christmas lights! I would be content spending the rest of my days driving around looking at Christmas lights. I can even say it! It comes out sounding like "liiiights". I still say it all the time, even though they have all disappeared.
If I'm not looking at Christmas lights, I'm watching the Wiggles. Wiggle is a word that I have also added to my vocab. I love the Wiggles. I don't have a favorite, but Mommy says that the blue one is cute. I may have to keep an eye on her... If I'm having a really good day, I get to watch a Wiggles DVD and wear my Wiggles pj's to bed. They have taught me some very useful things such as how to make a fruit salad, how to use a feather as a sword, and how to say "Shalom". Well, I can't say it yet, but I will someday.
I am in a peanut butter and jelly phase at the moment. I won't eat anything else. I just thought you should know.
Let's see. What else? Uh, I burned my finger on the stove a couple of weeks ago...I throw EVERYTHING in the trash can these days...I like to take the knob off of the dishwasher and hide it...I HATE having my teeth brushed and will stop at nothing to prevent it...
Really, not much of interest has been going on here. Things are just pretty quiet. However, this may change. I can't say why right now, but keep your fingers crossed and pray for good things to keep happening to our small family. Hopefully, next time we visit, I'll have some really cool news for you!
Until then, happy new year!!!

That's right, I'm on the roads. I've got this driving thing down pat. I don't think that there is much need for that jogging stroller in the background now that I can drive. I think I'll go crusin' later and pick up a six pack of apple juice.

I have discovered a new joy in life. I love to take out the trash. It's so exciting! In order to complete the job just right, you must walk a great distance and through some not so nice looking areas. Daddy comes along to protect me, but since I'm a big boy, I'll probably be doing it by myself soon! Mommy and Daddy laugh and say "I wonder if you will still love to take out the trash when you are 15!!" That's so dumb. Why wouldn't I? I don't think life gets any more exciting than this!!
Here are some pictures documenting my recent excurision to the dumpster.
Out the door....
Down the sidewalk...
Through the dark and rugged alleyway....
And into the dumpster!
I'm a BIG helper!!!
